Digital Softedge Generator
Using 2 or more Videoprojectors side by side will show differences in visible parameters of each picture.
A common in displaying large screens, is to use multiple projectors for one splitted image.
In this case, an overlap-area of up to 120 pixel columns is created.
The Scala-soft is designed to eliminate any visible differences in this area column by column.
In addition, as a first step, a primary and secondary color correction is used to match the basic parameters for the complete image area.
A Fade-to-black feature allows automatic fading to a predefined level in a predefined time.
A user friendly, Windows based software is used to define, store and recall the setups.
Up to 4 setups are stored in the internal SEG-1 memory for standalone operation.
Communication with up to 99 units is provided via RS 485 with selectable baud rate.
Input for the Scala-Soft is 10 bit SDI. The internal data path is converted to RGB, and
manipulated with 12 bit resolution.
Up to 720 pixel columns can be adjusted separately:
Primary correction: White level
Black level
Gamma Y
Gamma R
Gamma G
Gamma B
Secondary correction: Level R from sum of RGB
Level G from sum of RGB
Level B from sum of RGB
The various analog and digital outputs are independently switchable to bypass mode. Delay time Input to Output max. 10 Pixel.
Different test-patters are provided for pre-adjustments.
